- Worldcoin collaborates with Dune to improve data transparency on the World Chain.
- World Chain offers higher scalability, handling double the OP Mainnet’s workload.
On Friday, Worldcoin announced a new partnership with Dune Analytics to improve data accessibility and transparency on its Layer-2 blockchain, World Chain. This partnership will allow developers and users to track crucial on-chain metrics like human contact and DeFi protocol performance. They will also be able to monitor DEXs and other essential data points.
Enhanced Scalability with World Chain
Ethereum secures World Chain, which is part of the Superchain network built on the OP Stack. Worldcoin transitioned to its own Layer-2 chain early this year to solve scalability concerns. The team claims that World Chain can handle twice the workload of the OP Mainnet. This will significantly boost the chain’s efficiency and performance.
Worldcoin also stated that over 10 million World App users, who are now using the OP Mainnet, would be able to move to the World Chain once the mainnet is fully operational. The team is likely to launch the World Chain mainnet soon, after initially scheduling it for the summer.
Remco Bloemen, Head of Blockchain at the Worldcoin Foundation, expressed excitement about the collaboration, saying, With Dune’s powerful analytics tools, we can provide users and developers with accessible on-chain data, empowering them to make informed decisions and drive innovation on the World Chain.
Fredrik Haga, CEO and co-founder of Dune stated that the cooperation would give critical tools for developers and analysts to evaluate World Chain’s performance as the network grows.
Currently, there are approximately 6.9 million orb-verified World ID holders, over 10 million World App downloads, and 150 million transactions worldwide. At the time of writing, WLD was trading at $2.00, up 13.02%.
This collaboration with Dune Insights is expected to strengthen Worldcoin’s commitment to transparency and user privacy, while also offering more comprehensive insights for its community.
