Tether has released its 2024 financial report, showing a net profit of over $13 billion for the year. The company achieved its highest level of U.S. Treasury bond ownership with $113 billion. USDT obtained $45 billion worth of issuance throughout 2024 due to robust market uptake.

BDO confirmed the accuracy of the report as a global independent accounting firm. The financial reserves of Tether received official verification from this auditing process. The report classified all aspects of company assets through a detailed analysis, which took place at the end of December 2024. The investigation demonstrates Tether stands firm financially while revealing its transparent business operations.

Tether reached outstanding growth during the fourth quarter of 2024. The company achieved combined group equity reaching more than $20 billion. The reported figures demonstrate how Tether controls the market while simultaneously expanding to new business areas. The company made investments that encompass renewable energy together with Bitcoin mining and AI operations telecommunications, and educational initiatives.

U.S. Treasury holdings demonstrated significant disdain during Q4 of the year. Tether functioned as one of the largest U.S. Treasury owners worldwide because its holdings surpassed $113 billion during the period. Market stability combined with liquidity forms a central commitment for the company.

Tether Establishes El Salvador Headquarters, Secures DASP License

Tether increased its financial assets when it came to FEMA reserves. Tether reached the milestone of surpassing its first $7 billion excess reserve buffer as its financial reserves grew by 36% compared to the previous year. The total USDT issuance by the company in Q4 amounted to $23 billion, which added up to $45 billion during the entire year 2024. The total number of issued stablecoins establishes USDT as the leading stablecoin used worldwide.

The investments Tether made in gold and Bitcoin produced $5 billion worth of unrealized profits. Traditional investments and Treasuries together with repo agreements provided $7 billion in earnings and another $1 billion came from regular investments. The company utilizes these investments to uphold its solid financial structure.

Tether International SA de C.V. achieved a stablecoin issuer and Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) license from El Salvador to operate in its newly established headquarters. El Salvador operates as the new headquarters for Tether while advancing its financial inclusion goals to reach users worldwide.

CEO Paolo Ardoino of Tether expressed that the company remains committed to preserving stability while being openly transparent. The stablecoin market leader Tether underscores its dominance through excellent token creation, substantial reserves, and directed investments and record-setting reserves.
