Tether partners with Guinea to drive blockchain innovation, promote digital education, empower youth, and advance African digital economy transformation.
Tether, a global leader in digital assets, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Guinea. The collaboration will analyze blockchain and peer-to-peer technologies to enhance economic expansion while making Guinea the driving force of African digital transformation.
The Memorandum of Understanding emphasizes the development of education and innovation together with sustainable technology practices. International best practices together with knowledge will be transferred to Guinea according to the agreement. The initiative requires Tether to work with Cité des Sciences et de l’Innovation de Guinée (City of Science and Innovation of Guinea) to develop blockchain educational programs. These educational programs will deliver knowledge about digital systems to both the private and public sectors of Guinea.
