Ronin Network launches $10 million developer grants program to support blockchain projects, offering funding and visibility to builders.
Ronin Network, an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain, has introduced a new $10 million grants program. The Ronin Ecosystem Grants is the program’s name. The official post was announced on January 16, 2025. This is intended to support the growing developer community and allow for the capabilities of the blockchain to extend.
The grants initiative invites more developers to build innovative projects on Ronin blockchain to attract more developers. This program is an integral part of Ronin’s growth and development strategy for its network. Through our platform, developers can raise between $20K and $300K of funding, based on their projects. This network funding will be given out in the network token (RON), which is also unlockable in milestones.
These grants are to be used to pay for any essential costs eligible teams may require. They involve development integrations, audits and deployment of their projects. There is also a promotional offer inside of the program like being featured in Ronin channels which can reach millions of impressions daily. This puts developers in front of more eyes and enables them to build ties with other builders in the ecosystem.
Ronin Ecosystem Grants Aims to Attract Blockchain Developers
There is also the Waypoint Grant program for teams that are working on both in the area of user experience (UX) and onboarding. Projects that aim to enhance the onchain experience of end users are eligible for this initiative which comes with $20K in RON. It attempts to achieve this in a way to create a smoother user experience, but especially for those new to the blockchain. To cover the gas fees and make sure there are no hiccups for users, these funds will do exactly that.
