- RARI Chain announces DeFi Days to increase income for NFT creators.
- The prize pool for creator’s seminars and contests is $80,000.
Rarible has partnered with Arbitrum to launch a program aimed at empowering on-chain innovators. This initiative seeks to explore earning opportunities within the DeFi and NFT sectors. This effort introduces the RARI Chain, developed by the RARI Foundation and operating under the RARI DAO in the Rarible ecosystem.
Rarible is one of the world’s major NFT marketplaces, and its fundamental token, RARI, is based on the Ethereum network. RARI Chain, a layer-3 solution based on Arbitrum Ethereum’s layer-2, has been classified as a Creator Chain. This revolutionary platform allows users to create and sell NFTs while incorporating node-level royalties. This innovative feature enhances earnings for both creators and collectors, making it a win-win for the NFT community.
The RARI Chain aims to offer diverse revenue streams, such as the commodification of inventions and rewards. Additionally, it will facilitate decentralized exchange (DEX) transactions and native yield production for its users.
RARI Foundation’s Role in Innovation
The RARI Foundation, founded in 2022, is a non-profit organization that represents the RARI DAO. While the foundation is managed by RARI token holders, it takes on important obligations like administering the treasury and encouraging efforts that line with the community’s purpose. Its objective is to promote new NFT technology and facilitate seamless ownership transfers within the DAO.
As part of its continued commitment to NFT artists, RARI Chain and Arbitrum have announced the introduction of “DeFi Days.” This effort, which will begin on October 24, 2024, aims to position creators as key drivers of growth in the cryptocurrency sector by assisting them in recognizing and capitalizing on income opportunities in the ever-changing Web3 ecosystem.
DeFi Days will motivate ecosystem projects through Superboard missions and a prize pool of around $80,000, as well as other workshops, focused on educating creators on DeFi strategies and new revenue streams beyond NFT purchases. The effort is scheduled to last eight weeks and will involve in-person and online sessions in major cities such as New York, Lisbon, and Bangkok.
RARI Chain, in partnership with many partners, including Refraction DAO and SheFi, will also hold a Web3 artist contest. Winners will display their work at DevCon in Bangkok on November 13, expanding chances for creative talent in the industry.
Jana Bertram, Head of Strategy at the RARI Foundation, expressed the pleasure of the idea, adding that DeFi Days is a significant advance toward empowering creators in the Web3 ecosystem. They believe that creating links between creators and DeFi may assist in supporting the creator economy.
