OKX Ventures, in partnership with The Open Platform and Folius Ventures, launches a $10 million Telegram Growth Hub to enhance TON blockchain innovation.
OKX Ventures, OKX’s investment arm, has partnered with The Open Platform (TOP) and Folius Ventures to launch a $10 million Telegram Growth Hub. This initiative aims to foster innovation in the TON blockchain and expand Telegram’s mini-app ecosystem. The Telegram Growth Hub will specifically fund and support projects that enhance user engagement on the TON platform.
The Growth Hub will focus on three broad themes. First, it will cover a tutorial and educational sections for users. Making TON more user-friendly will be projects that produce natural interfaces and materials that explain how TON works easily. This focus is crucial to improving the number of people who engage in the platform.
Second, the hub will fund the development of trading capabilities and networks. This entails the development of on-chain trading features, DEX, and superior features such as NFT trading and liquid staking. All these features are important for improving the trading experiences within the platform.
Third, the Telegram Growth Hub will push the mini-app ecosystem forward. It will look for new mini-apps for Telegram, which can be focused on gaming or entertainment. It will expand TON’s application and enhance users’ interaction with this platform.
Telegram Growth Hub Offers Funding and Tools for Emerging Projects
Selected projects will receive comprehensive support. They will receive funding to recruit talents and foster communities. However, they can leverage various developer tools such as OKX Connect. This tool aims to simplify integrating wallets for developers engaged in TON.
Moreover, projects will get a set of tools from TOP: Tonkeeper, TON Apps API, Playdeck, and many more. These resources will help teams develop strategies on how best to grow and maintain user interest. Getting mentorship guidance and access to professional networks will also be possible. This support shall enable the teams to contact affiliates within the OKX, TOP, and Folius Ventures ecosystems.
The Telegram Growth Hub intends to choose up to 10 promising projects undergoing two months of acceleration. Teams selected for this program will be able to access funds from $10 million fund. The advertised applications are available until the 29th of November, 2024.
Lastly, the Telegram Growth Hub is a major step towards further innovation development within the Telegram environment. As Telegram alone is acquiring around 2.5 million new users per day, it focuses on that growth. By supporting the development of next-generation products, the hub seeks to drive mass adoption of the TON blockchain.
