- Zero Gravity Labs raises $40M to scale decentralized AI.
- dAIOS seeks to secure data and provide transparent AI computations.
Zero-Gravity Labs (OG Labs), which has developed the world’s very first Decentralised Artificial Intelligence Operating System (dAIOS), has closed seed round funding with a successful amount of $40 million. The startup follows a pre-seed raise of $35 million, taking the total capital pledged to the venture to $325 million. Concluded with such massive backing from venture capital firms and digital asset exchanges, it is all but sure that Zero-Gravity Labs will be the new leading player in this fast-emerging decentralized AI industry.
Huge profile investors include Hack VC, OKX Ventures, Samsung Next, Delphi Digital, and Animoca, with over 200 more. The decentralized approach to AI by OG Labs attracted industry luminaries such as Yat Siu and Animoca, Sandeep Nailwal of Polygon, and Bankless Ventures in the seed round funding that will allow OG Labs to accelerate the development and provide a fast-paced AI ecosystem with secure and transparent properties.
Decentralized AI Future by OG Labs
dAIOS aims to fill gaps arising in central AI development, such as with data privacy issues and the resultant degree of monopoly. The new platform exploits the advantages of on-chain processing in securing a large amount of data -50 GB per second AI computational capacity. Unlike other AI systems, dAIOS will execute entirely on the blockchain, making its process transparent and owning the operations of AI itself.
With an additional $250 million liquid line, OG Labs is well-positioned to push its ecosystem even further. Exchanges with over-the-counter rates now provide access to the decentralized AI infrastructure, and the company is directing funds to accelerate the dAIOS development, talent acquisition, and collaborations with academic institutions to drive innovation.
The fund will accelerate the production of dAIOS, a decentralized operating system set to transform AI into a more transparent, secure, and accessible technology. “Currently, AI is changing every aspect of our lives, but its development remains highly centralized, raising concerns over transparency and control,” Heinrich added.
Innovation in decentralized AI has focused on security and transparency, and that is what OG Labs promises. With great investor support and a very clear vision for decentralized AI, the company stands to participate in whatever could possibly transform the future of artificial intelligence.
