Google Cloud Partners with ZetaChain to Enhance Web3 Adoption

-

Google Cloud partners with ZetaChain to enhance Web3 adoption, drive innovation, and improve interoperability across all blockchain ecosystems.

Google Cloud has partnered with ZetaChain to accelerate the adoption of Web3 and drive innovation in Universal Apps. This new partnership aims to improve ZetaChain’s Universal Blockchain’s security and scalability, enabling seamless interaction across all blockchains. As part of this collaboration, Google Cloud will provide validator services for both mainnet and testnet environments. This will help to secure a diverse and decentralized ecosystem for ZetaChain.

ZetaChain aims to create a Universal Blockchain through which users can access any blockchain natively. This vision aims at making cryptocurrencies more connected and available. Thanks to Google Cloud, ZetaChain can expand its ecosystem and cover more ground using its infrastructure. Google Cloud will also help ZetaChain expand its validator set, which is essential for both security and decentralization.

Richard Widmann, the Head of Web3 Strategy at Google Cloud, pointed out that the collaboration would enable developers. They already use the validator services of Google Cloud, which will give ZetaChain full interoperability in the blockchain environment. This, in turn, allows developers to build more advanced decentralized applications called dApps.

ZetaChain Strengthens Ecosystem with Google Cloud’s Validator Services

To strengthen its network, ZetaChain will stake 1,000,000 ZETA tokens across five validators on Google Cloud. This delegation is part of ZetaChain’s incredible 10,000,000 ZETA Foundation Delegation Program. These tokens will enable the validators to produce the blocks and earn the rewards that will help to extend the layer of decentralization for ZetaChain.

Furthermore, developers creating Universal Apps on ZetaChain will be able to become members of the Google Cloud Web3 Startups Program. Projects that meet the requirements set under this program are granted Google Cloud credits, which they use when creating Universal Smart Contracts. These contracts are natively accessible with all connected blockchains, including Bitcoin, and have no infrastructural limitations.

Google Cloud will also be linked to ZetaChain’s testnet faucet. This will help developers get testnet ZETA tokens faster for testing and deploying Universal Smart Contracts. By so doing, developers can concentrate on advancing their architectures without worrying about infrastructural issues.

This partnership can be considered a milestone for ZetaChain. The platform has connected 4 million different wallets and completed over 150 million transactions. ZetaChain is still expanding and has more than 290 dApp integrations. This collaboration with Google Cloud should help drive the usage of Web3 technologies. In addition, this will boost participation in staking and governance, contributing to a more decentralized and secure blockchain ecosystem.
