- GAIB raises $5M to establish decentralized GPU finance infrastructure.
- The platform pioneers new AI computing investment options.
Building the Financial Infrastructure for AI Computing GAIB has successfully closed its funding round at pre-seed, raising $5 million. Hack Venture Capital, Faction, and Hashed co-led the round. Additional strategic contributions came from Spartan, CMCC, Animoca Brands, and other angel investors.
According to the company, such would empower GAIB to enrich research, development, and operation teams; improve product iteration pace; and advance platform infrastructure, it said. For now, this aims at creating a decentralized and liquid enterprise-grade market for graphics processing units. The company also said it will alleviate shortfalls in GPU funding and access by investors.
Tokenizing GPUs for instant investment into AI
GAIB’s innovation lies in the tokenization of GPUs and their harvests, creating a new asset class driven by real demand for AI computing power. Traditionally, this space has been dominated by stock investments in a few large semiconductor and AI companies. However, GAIB now provides a direct investment channel in the AI space. By integrating AI and GPU requirements with blockchain, GAIB offers yield-bearing assets that are unlocking new prospects in the field of DeFi.
These decentralized assets enable individuals to access GPU exposure and participate in yield products, accessing a variety of financial strategies across hedging, speculation, and portfolio management. As Kony Kwong, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at GAIB, asserts, it is building the world’s first economic layer for AI computing. This is opening a new avenue for investment within this rapidly emerging space.
GAIB has been able to establish strategic alliances with the industry’s leading companies, Aethir and io.net. These alliances further strengthen the initiatives of GAIB. They look to significantly enrich both its expansion and the GAIB ecosystem. This will be achieved through innovative compute financialization.
GAIB is creating a new market in decentralized GPU finance by fulfilling the exploding need for high-computation requirements within AI. The effort promises the delivery of GPU-backed stablecoins, lending, borrowing, and wider DeFi products. It has the ability to change every investment channel by opening access to this trillion-dollar AI compute market for both institutional and personal entry.
