On September 20, global cryptocurrency exchange BXTEN announced the launch of a blockchain and Web3-focused cable channel called Indocrypto to expand its Web3 platform. The new channel will broadcast 24/7 on ICONPLAY Channel 205, operated jointly by Indonesia’s state-owned electric company PLN and SKYLBSTV.
Viewers across Indonesia can now tune in to Indocrypto from the launch date. Plans to expand the channel’s reach globally by the first half of next year include live streaming via IPTV and OTT platforms, which will make the channel accessible on mobile devices.
ICONPLAY stated, “With the launch of Indocrypto in collaboration with BXTEN, we aim to provide high-quality and expert content to our audience, expanding our original content offerings. Given Indonesia’s growing cryptocurrency investor base, which now exceeds 20 million people, we anticipate Indocrypto will resonate strongly with the tech-savvy 2040 generation.”
BXTEN intends to deliver its expertise and value to a larger audience through this channel, focusing on blockchain and Web3 education and investment-related content. Besides cryptocurrency chart analysis, Indocrypto will feature educational programs and panel discussions with local influencers to engage viewers new to blockchain and Web3 technologies.
The channel will target Indonesia’s 2040 demographic, fostering curiosity and engagement in digital asset investment through entertaining prime-time content. BXTEN collaborates with various Web3 companies to produce original programming, enhancing synergy and expanding the channel’s influence.
