Bitcoin Charts Bitcoin Exchange Flows Above 1 BTC Drop From 80K to 27.5K BTC Globally Amid Price Bounce

Bitcoin defends $83.8K as analysts eye $87K; is a fresh leg toward $126K still on the table? Here’s what to watch.
Bitcoin is trading near $84,192 after defending the $83.8K long-POI identified by analyst Lennaert Snyder.
CoinGecko data shows BTC down 0.96% over 24 hours, while gaining 9.74% over the last week. Trading volume stands at $43.27 billion as Bitcoin consolidates above several closely watched technical levels.
Snyder said Bitcoin reached the $83.8K level and is attempting to hold it. He identified $83.5K as the PDL being defended during the London session. He also expects Bitcoin to reclaim $84.8K before targeting liquidity around $85.2K.
The setup comes after a sharp decline in open interest, according to Snyder. He said the drop showed that the market had been heavily positioned long. The current consolidation could therefore build liquidity on both sides of the market.
Snyder identified $83.8K as a long-POI and said he entered after its second test. A long-POI refers to a price area where a trader expects potential buying interest.
Bitcoin also needs to defend the $83.5K PDL in the current setup. A PDL refers to the previous day’s low, which traders often monitor for liquidity sweeps.
$BTC hit our 83.8K long-POI and is trying to hold.
Those who follow know we've been looking at this level since the beginning of this week.
I personally longed Bitcoin after the second tap into the 83.8K level.

Snyder said another opportunity could emerge if Bitcoin sweeps $83.5K before rebounding strongly. That setup would test whether buyers can reclaim the level after briefly losing it.
The open-interest decline adds another layer to the Bitcoin price structure.
Open interest measures outstanding derivatives positions across futures and similar contracts. A sharp decline can indicate that leveraged positions have been closed or liquidated.

The next levels identified by Snyder sit above the current Bitcoin price. He wants to see $84.8K taken out before Bitcoin reaches the $85.2K area.
Snyder also said a move through $84.8K could remove late sellers before filling the void near $85.2K. However, he noted that short setups remain possible after a valid trigger.
Meanwhile, analyst Gert van Lagen identified another important level near $82.8K. On X, van Lagen described Bitcoin as retesting the red neckline of a lower-timeframe double bottom.

He called the retest healthy if the neckline holds and identified the upper megaphone trendline as the next technical stop. His analysis places $82.8K as the key level for maintaining that structure.
KillaXBT presented a broader Bitcoin price framework extending toward $126K. He expects the largest pullbacks during that move to remain around 10% to 15%.
KillaXBT said $87K could become a local high before a deeper retracement toward the low-$70Ks. Under that scenario, he would watch the lower area for another continuation setup.
This is a very important post & I suggest you read it at least 10 times.
I believe the bottom is in.
From here to $126K, I expect the largest pullbacks in this bull market to be roughly 10–15%.
That means, theoretically, if $87K acts as our local high before a deeper retrace… https://t.co/4PB1Px6FWc

His earlier analysis compared drawdowns across Bitcoin’s previous cycles. He noted that the last bear market produced a 54% decline, versus 78% previously.
KillaXBT also said Bitcoin’s largest retracements during its previous bull-market run reached 20% to 22%. He expects this cycle’s larger pullbacks to remain closer to 10% to 15%.
For traders, the immediate mechanism remains price acceptance above key liquidity levels. Holding $83.5K and $82.8K keeps those structures intact, while $84.8K and $85.2K offer nearby upside levels.
If Bitcoin clears those areas, $87K becomes a key level in the current market structure.
