Bitbase, the digital asset exchange, inaugurated its first location in Buenos Aires in 2024. The company announced that the next target is to deploy more terminals in 2025.

Crypto ATMs or electronic money vending machines are a specialty business of Bitbase, which lets users buy and sell cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. Athena Bitcoin is Bitbase’s main competitor in Argentina. Athena, which runs about a dozen terminals in Buenos Aires and other main cities throughout South America, declined requests for comment. But Bitbase wants to grow and provide other options to crypto users. But it will have the company’s two-way terminals, which will help users buy and sell Bitcoin and other virtual currencies with ease.
Crypto ATMs in particular boast one key advantage, which is privacy. Crypto ATMs, on the other hand, do not have transactions recorded by the government ARCA or AFIP. When compared to Interac, it does not give users the level of anonymity they enjoy when using the system in Argentina.
