- Bybit users in Argentina can pre-register to receive a free physical Mastercard debit card.
- The card enables crypto-to-fiat transactions and comes with a cashback offer of 30,000 ARS for the initial adopters.
Bybit, an established worldwide cryptocurrency exchange, has recently announced the pre-registration of its physical Bybit Card in Argentina following a series of launches and collaborations. Despite the successful introduction of its virtual card in July, the site is now providing Argentina customers with early access to an actual Mastercard debit card. This initiative aims to expand Bybit’s reach among retail customers and investors in South America’s second-largest economy.
The physical Bybit Card allows users to manage and spend their cryptocurrency holdings. It will be free of charge during the pre-registration period. Bybit’s Argentine users who sign up early will be the first to receive the card before it becomes widely available. This follows the popularity of the virtual Bybit Card, which saw 75% of Argentine users sign up within the first two months of its launch.
While consumers are no longer reliant on traditional brick-and-mortar banks, Joan Han, Sales and Marketing Director at Bybit, acknowledges that “Many users prefer a physical card for added security. So they are doing their best to satisfy the popular expectations of our Argentinian community by providing better, faster, and more secure everyday solutions to assist people with off-ramping crypto assets one step at a time.”
Expanding Crypto Spending Opportunities
The Bybit Card enables users to spend major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Tether (USDT) at over 90 million merchant locations globally via the Mastercard network. This actual card also includes regular rewards and promotional bonuses, as well as no yearly or hidden fees.
Eligible customers who pre-register will also receive an additional incentive of 30,000 ARS when they deposit 100 USDT, which is only available to the first applicants. New customers can continue to apply for both virtual and physical Bybit Cards, as the firm strives to improve seamless crypto asset management in Argentina.
The debut of the Bybit Card in Argentina is part of the company’s larger effort to support its retail ecosystem and make ordinary cryptocurrency transactions more accessible and user-friendly.
